The Blog Log

 I would like to preface this with how much of a struggle I have with puppets. I don't know why! I just can't comprehend doing them and keeping them for an entire episode. This is all just my own perspective on the topic. There are so many cartoons out there that utilize puppeting to great success. For me, I rather just work with frame by frame...but that isn't to say I wouldn't try it again! That being said, here is my attempt at it. This is featuring my creature who I dubbed...Shabaroo...The name randomly popped up in my head and I stuck with it. 

 I felt so frustrated with myself because I KNOW I could have done this better. It was a wild ride from start to finish, with my going from doing this on ones to eventually switching over to twos. Even then I felt like I missed the timing with some things and have the background not scroll accordingly. What I thought would be a simple little strut turned out to be a rather stressful endeavor. While I am disappointed that I didn't do more, I am glad I got the learning experience. Definitely going to practice this on my free time.
