This was the first assignment I submitted for my animation class. It's a simple exercise of demonstrating how a bouncing ball reacts when hitting an object. A lot of my struggles actually came from learning how to use Toon Boom. It's a very interesting program to use and has a lot of features that will surely be of use to me one day. Admittedly, I struggled to control the momentum at which the ball was going. When it struck the object, it went a lot faster than I was planning. Even then, I felt like I did not get the control of the ball quite right. Still, this was a fun exercise to do even if I was having trouble with it. I wanted to practice smearing too with the swinging object even though it was not a part of the assignment. While it was fun stretching things out, I think I could have done better with it. Overall, a fun project to do but I aim to do even better with the next one. Here's hoping!
